About the Farm
Ryan and Katrina Wagler didn't stumble into farming. They spent years dreaming about it, praying over it, and preparing for it before Ryan finally walked away from the family business in 2013 to build something he could believe in with his hands. The name Vintage Meadows reflects their philosophy: a return to the kind of small-scale, community-rooted homesteading that fed families and villages for centuries before industrial agriculture took over. Starting with a farmers market booth and a lot of ambition, Ryan and Katrina gradually built the farm into a thriving direct-to-consumer operation, eventually acquiring a buying club that now delivers clean, farm-raised beef, pork, and poultry to customers in Northern Indiana and the Chicago suburbs. Their three children, Destiny, Nick, and Connor, work alongside them, deepening a family bond that Ryan counts among the farm's greatest rewards. After nearly a decade of hard work, honest failures, and steady growth, Vintage Meadows has become something bigger than they ever imagined, and they still take it one relationship at a time.
