Brown County, Indiana

About the Farm

Elena Vasquez came to beekeeping through her grandmother, who kept hives in her backyard in Mexico City. When Elena and her husband Marco moved to Brown County in 2015, the rolling wooded hills and wildflower meadows felt like exactly the right place to start something.

They began with four hives. Now they manage over 80 colonies spread across several Brown County properties, each producing honey that reflects the wildflowers and clover blooming around it. The hive locations rotate seasonally to follow the bloom.

Clover Creek honey is raw, unfiltered, and never heated above hive temperature, preserving every enzyme and flavor the bees worked to create. Seasonal varietals include spring wildflower, summer clover, goldenrod, and a dark, complex fall honey that has developed a loyal following.
